A Trip in Quebec

The year of 2017 is Canada 150th anniversary. There are so many events across Canada and celebrations all year long. This summer, I had once more chance traveling to Montreal and Quebec city with my family.

City of Montreal

Montreal is the largest city in Québec province and the second largest city in Canada. It is set on an island in the Saint Lawrence River and named after Mt. Royal, the triple-peaked hill at its heart. It is brimming with culture and festivals, amazing food, shops, and many outdoor activities. The city is today an important centre of commerce, finance, industry, technology, culture, world affairs. It is the only Canadian city to have held the Summer Olympics so far. Basilique Notre-Dame de Montréal, is a basilica in the historic district of Old Montreal, in Montreal. It is built in the Gothic Revival style and is highly decorated.

City of Quebec

Québec City is the capital city of the Canadian province of Québec. It was established in 1608, spreads westward from the Saint Lawrence River.The city's landmarks include the Château Frontenac, a hotel which dominates the skyline, and La Citadelle, an intact fortress that forms the centrepiece of the ramparts surrounding the old city. The National Assembly of Quebec (provincial legislature), the Musée national des beaux-arts du Québec (National Museum of Fine Arts of Quebec), and the Musée de la civilisation (Museum of Civilization) are found within or near Vieux-Québec.

A Canadian musician, David Ogalde, from Chili was playing harp instrument in the Quartier Petit Champlain known as one of the most beautiful art streets in Old Quebec City.

If you travel to Quebec City, do not miss a magnificent scenery, Canyon Sainte-Anne. Canyon Sainte-Anne is located 6 km east of Beaupré, Quebec, Canada, 30 minutes drive from Quebec City. There are 1.2 billion-year-old cliff-sides and 60 meters height bridge overlooking. You can also experience Zip line or Air Canyon.
